Worcester Wolves took an early exit from this year’s British Basketball All-Stars Championship at London’s Copper Box Arena on Sunday.

Unable to make any impact against the competition’s defending champions London Lions in their opening match, Wolves fared little better in their second outing of the afternoon against eventual tournament winners Surrey Scorchers.

Scorchers edged past Leicester Riders 36-33 in an overtime thriller to lift this season’s first piece of silverware. Surrey forward Jordan Williams was voted Player of the Tournament.

Wolves will be back in league action this Friday 19 October (7.30) when they welcome Manchester Giants to the University of Worcester Arena. Tickets are available here.
