DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS JUNE 22ND 2026 AT 9AM

The Worcester Wolves, in partnership with the University of Worcester are now offering Scholarships for Sports Therapy and Performance Analysis through the School of Sport and Exercise Science.

These placements are with Worcester Wolves NBL (Men), WNBL (Women) and BWB WPL (Women’s Wheelchair) teams who compete at the top tiers of their league structures.

The Worcester Wolves pride themselves on operating at a professional level throughout all areas of the club, both on and off the court.

These Scholarships provide hands on, inclusive experience in an elite sporting environment.

Performance Analysis

Performance Analysis Scholarship Application Form

The School of Sport & Exercise Science is offering a small number of Performance Analyst Scholarships for students wishing to gain applied experience working with the University’s basketball programmes.

These scholarships provide valuable hands‑on experience in performance sport while supporting your development as a practitioner. They are ideal for students who wish to progress into performance analyst roles within high‑performance or other sport environments.

 Scholarship Benefits

Scholarship holders will receive a tuition‑fee reduction on entry to the MSc Sport (Applied Performance Analysis) at the University of Worcester:

  • £2,500 fee reduction – for supporting the Men’s or Women’s Basketball Team
  • £1,000 fee reduction – for supporting the Wheelchair Basketball Team

This reduction is applied to the MSc Sport (Applied Performance Analysis) programme only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide performance analysis insights to support coaching decision-making and player development.
  • Liaise with coaches and the Performance Analysis Team Lead to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Supervise and support undergraduate Performance Analysis students.
  • Maintain accurate performance data records and complete required administrative tasks.
  • Act as a professional ambassador for the University within the basketball community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courtside first aid and injury management at all home and away basketball fixtures.
  • Supervise and support undergraduate Sports Therapy students on match days.
  • Liaise with the University Sports Injury & Rehabilitation Clinic to ensure effective care and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate rehabilitation and return‑to‑play plans for injured athletes.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required administrative tasks.
  • Act as a professional ambassador for the University within the basketball community.
