The Worcester Wolves have announced the signing of Louisville Cardinals guard Lamarr Kimble as the franchise continues their recruitment ahead of the new BBL season.

From Philadelphia Pennsylvania, the 6ft guard brings further quality and depth to the Wolves roster.

Boasting an impressive NCAA Division I career, Kimble began his college basketball with St Josephs Hawks before transferring the Louisville Cardinals for his senior year.

Kimble ended the season with a total of 156 points, 84 assists, 47 rebounds and 25 steals from 31 games including 17 starts.

With an ability to be impactful at both ends of the floor, Kimble brings an extensive skill set and high basketball IQ which fits and compliments the team’s dynamic

Wolves Head Coach Matt Newby has been impressed with what he has seen from his latest acquisition.

“I am really pleased with the signing of Lamarr Kimble. He is a guard with great pedigree who is dynamic and plays incredibly composed but at a high tempo.

He has the natural ability to create his own advantages and his selflessness really stands out both on film and statistically. His path in college would see him significantly impact two great programs in St Josephs and Louisville.

I think this is a great addition to the Wolf Pack’s back court and feel he will have the opportunity to evolve in the BBL and further define his own game whilst contributing to the continued ascension of the Worcester program.”

Kimble is ready to get to work and make an impact for the Wolves in the BBL.

“I feel blessed for the opportunity the franchise and Coach Newby have given me, I am excited to be coming to the UK and representing the City of Worcester.

I cannot wait to put on the Worcester Wolves uniform and give my all on court for the Wolf Pack!
