Worcester Wolves II – the season so far..

The Worcester Wolves 2 currently sit in 5th position of 11 in the EBL Division 3 with promise of moving up the table.

Attitude. Defend. Rebound. Run. Execute with Accuracy. Is what Head Coach Danny Magee asked for from his players. Here is his review of the season so far:

The season has followed that of the academic curve for the Worcester University students, to begin on a 4-0 winning streak was to commend the commitment and work ethic of the players.

A lot of new faces in the group and I think as a group the learning curves have been handled well. With many concepts and styles of play put in place, I am impressed with how we have been able to digest information and put it into action. There has been Strong emphasis on defensive and team oriented basketball.

We’ve dealt with a lot of adversity this year and throughout the season guys have stepped up. At this important time, the second curve of the season everyone has to step up, we look forward to doing that and getting better doing so as we look to be playoff contenders. This demands a collaborative effort from all guys to rise and flourish, we are playing an exciting style of basketball where the guys are put in situations to make decisions and be accountable of the. This peer to peer engagement is to be commended, if we can keep priorities straight, mind right and head up we will do well and live well.
