Game Night Experience
Worcester Wolves Game Night Experience
What To Expect
Non-stop basketball and entertainment!
In the Arena reception area, you’ll find our club shop with all our latest merchandise including budget friendly options and sales stands. On occasion you’ll also find our sponsors and partners giving away free treats and goodies!
We have a concession stand in the main hall serving everything from hotdogs, sweets, healthy snacks, popcorn and nachos to hot drinks and a large selection of alcoholic beverages! You’ll also find all of our signature University Arena alcoholic drinks on tap including Ale, Cider and Larger produced by our partners The Friday Beer Co. – a Wolfpack favourite.
Your ticket permits general admission meaning you are able to sit in any seat which does not have a reserved seat sign (or a person sat in it, unless you want to get really cosy!) Reserved seats are group bookings so please ensure you do not sit in these seats as you will be asked to move by one of the Arena’s lovely stewards.
More information on the accessibility and the services at the Arena can be found on the link below.

Groups bookings: Please report to the VIP Entrance where you will be shown to your reserved seats.
Prior to the start of the game, you will see the teams warming up on court as well as fun crowd activities. The away team are announced first, followed by the Worcester Wolves.
Once the game starts, you’ll get caught up in the action and crowd chants (trust us, they are easy to pick up and are family friendly).
During timeouts and quarters, you’ll see entertainment and crowd participation games where you can win prizes from our sponsors and partners. At half time, you have the opportunity to take part in our shoot-out on court!
The games usually take around an hour and a half to complete but this is dependent on stoppages, time-outs and any overtime (our record is 4 sets of overtime!)
Don’t know basketball? Don’t let that put you off, anyone can enjoy basketball without knowing a great deal about the game or rules as our MC will explain the calls throughout the night. Fans chat about referee decisions on the night (constantly) so you’ll pick up a great deal from them too! However, if you want to ‘buff up’ on the rules, check out our rules page:
Photography, and video recording in connection with promotion and publicity will be taking place at the event. By your attendance at the event you acknowledge that you have been informed that you may be photographed or recorded. Photography and video recording may be used as part of the release of promotional content, broadcasted footage and any other media now known or yet to be invented.
University Arena Bag Policy
The Arena bag policy is in place to keep you and others safe. Please consider whether you need to bring a bag to the Arena. We do not allow large bags into the arena for security reasons.
You will be permitted to bring an A4 size bag or smaller into the arena. One bag is allowed per person.
We class small bags as no larger than A4 size, the size of a standard handbag.
If you refuse a bag check upon entry, you will be refused entry to the Arena and you will not be eligible for a refund on ticket(s) purchased for the event.
Large Bags
Our advice is to leave large bags at home. If you need to bring a large bag:
- Participants: you will need to undergo a bag check and follow storage directions.
- Spectators: you will not be able to take a large bag into the Arena. You will need to join the ‘large bag’ check lane. All bags will be screened before being accepted by us to store on your behalf. Bags MUST be collected within 30 minutes of the end of the event.
If you refuse a bag check, you will be refused entry to the Arena and you will not be eligible for a refund on ticket(s) purchased for the event.
Musical instruments are not permitted into the Arena unless authorisation has been sought.
We are introducing the bag checks In line with the Protect Duty where we seek to further enhance public security.
