Worcester Wolves Announce Free-to-View Platform for the 2020-2021 Season

The Worcester Wolves Basketball Club have announced today that they will be live streaming home fixtures straight from the University Arena free of charge in what is set to be a very different season for basketball in the UK.

The club are the only members of the British Basketball League (BBL) to utilise the “free to view” option, rewarding the unwavering loyalty of the club’s fans, the “Wolfpack”. Sports fans and people across the country can now support the team from the comfort and safety of their own homes, bringing the excitement of elite sport to the masses in a time where many people are struggling both financially and with their mental health.

Mick Donovan, Managing Director of the club, says: “In recent weeks, we have considered several options that relate to how best to share Worcester Wolves games in the current environment with our fans. It was not a difficult decision to make to reward the loyal support of the Wolfpack with the free view option. Clearly, we hope that their loyal support continues, and the viewing figures reflect their commitment to the team.”
