The Worcester Wolves had added BBL experience to their roster, with the signing of Raheem May-Thompson.

The British 6ft 6 Forward joins following a season with Mulhouse Pfastatt in France and prior to that he spent 3 seasons in the BBL with Cheshire Phoenix and Leicester Riders.

In his final season with Cheshire, Raheem averaged 14.4 points and 4 rebounds a game. The same season he won the BBL Cup where the Phoenix defeated the Wolves in the Birmingham final.

Raheem also represented at Great Britain U20 and England at U16 levels.

Worcester Head Coach Matt Newby is excited to see what Raheem will bring to the team.

“I think this signing is a significant for the team on a number of levels.

Raheem has proven output in the league and inevitably had a number of teams vying for his signature.

The reason is simple, energy, output and the ability to influence the team’s fabric.

He is very much a cultural architect, leading by example showing a strong level of pride in getting the job done.

He has the ability to defend multiple positions and generate extra possessions through his high-level output and game sense.

I look forward to working with Raheem this season and welcome him to the Wolf Pack”

Raheem is looking forward to his time with Worcester.

“I am excited to play at Worcester largely due to their fan base the Wolf Pack and the community in Worcester.

Every time I have played against Worcester at their Arena in the past, home games would always be packed out.”
