The Worcester Wolves pair with Hickory’s Smokehouse for the new season

The Worcester Wolves will be collaborating with the newly open Hickory’s Smokehouse, in Cripplegate Park this coming season.

Inspired by a road trip across Texas and Louisiana the family restaurant and bar offer authentic Southern style food, drink and good old-fashioned hospitality. With community at the heart of each organisation and a love for American culture, both the Worcester Wolves and Hickory’s Smokehouse thought that this would be the perfect partnership.

Worcester Wolves fans are about to become very familiar with Hickory’s Smokehouse as they will now be sponsoring game night activities throughout the 2018/19 season. Fans can take part in Hickory’s hot shots to give them a chance of winning prizes from a free round of drinks to a meal for four in each month of the year.

The Worcester Wolves players have been making themselves familiar with the team at Hickory’s already, as they visited the restaurant for a tasting session. General Manager Steve Bonnington said, “It’s great to have the Worcester Wolves down here today. Community is a big thing for Hickory’s, so it’s great to have a partnership with the Wolves. We are really looking forward to getting started, welcoming new faces and working together.”

Managing Director of the Worcester Wolves, Mick Donovan added:“When we first met with senior staff from Hickory’s, we were really impressed by their focus upon community engagement and their enthusiasm to get behind the Worcester Wolves. Clearly, they have an outstanding reputation for their food and service and we are delighted to be associated with them”
