Worcester Wolves Exciting New Signing

The Worcester Wolves has signed the talented Point Guard, Jordan Aaron.

Jordan has a reputation as a versatile, scoring playmaker, who had an impressive season with CAB Madeira in Portugal in 2014 -15 where he averaged 16.7 points and 4.4 assists.

He played his college basketball in NCAA 1 with Milwaukee Panthers and in his final year, in 2013 -14 season, he led the team on the court and averaged 13.9 points whilst also being named Horizon League MVP as his team were victorious and received an automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament.

Wolves Head Coach, Paul James, said he was pleased with this addition to his team. “I’m delighted that we have been able to find a player that we feel will have a good and positive impact on the team going into the final stages of the season,” he said. “I will be looking for Jordan to step up to the challenge and give us added leadership and production from the point guard position.”

Jordan Aaron, who hails from the Bronx in New York, is also excited about the opportunity of coming to Worcester.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to meeting and working with everyone, can’t wait to represent the Worcester Wolves,” he said.

Managing Director, Mick Donovan, added: “We have spent a great deal of time searching for the right type of player who can realistically bring something extra to our current team. This is a really exciting and challenging part of the season for everyone involved at the club and the arrival of Jordan clearly sends out a message to our fans that the season is still very much alive with the play offs approaching very soon.”

The Wolves will hope that Jordan will make his Worcester debut at Leeds Force on Friday, but supporters will have to wait until March 18th to see him play on their home court at the University of Worcester Arena against Plymouth Raiders.
