13th March 2015 James Urges Wolves to Build Winning Run
Paul James has urged his side to put together a winning run before the end of the season as they host the Durham Wildcats tonight.
Wolves’ narrow 86-85 win over the Plymouth Raiders last week saw them record back-to-back wins for the first time since January.
But, despite the win, James insists that lessons need to be learned from last week’s scare against the 11th placed Raiders if they are to remain in contention for the top two places in the BBL.
“We conceded 54 points in the first half and I was bitterly disappointed about that. There was just no effort there and we were just playing as individuals. In the second half, I thought we came out and did a better job and only gave up 29 points and just got over the hill”, James said.
“We need to try and build a run. It will be a third game at home as well and we need to keep the winning run going”, he added.
Durham currently sit 10th in the BBL table and have won just 3 of their last 16 games.
