Job opening: IM Officer

Worcester Wolves Basketball Club, Sport Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and England Basketball are excited to jointly present a new, full time role in basketball development.

The Worcester Wolves have just moved into the new £15 million University of Worcester Arena (2000 seat capacity) and recognise this as a prime opportunity to further develop all aspects of the sport of basketball across the subregion of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

We are seeking an IM Officer to help:

1. Grow the number of people aged 14-25 playing inclusive basketball weekly, in a social environment and
throughout the year by starting and maintaining regular weekly intra and inter basketball competitions in
secondary schools, colleges, universities and clubs, supporting the Herefordshire & Worcestershire School
Games structure therein.

2. Assist in the transition from IM Basketball to club participation, growing the number of people playing
basketball.

3. Broker appropriate sport relationships so as to coordinate development of a countywide pro-active
network of groups and clubs playing basketball.
