Worcester Wolves Announcement

The Worcester Wolves have confirmed that April White will be the new Managing Director of the Worcester Wolves Basketball club. April will replace Mick Donovan who will become the Chairman of the Wolves Board following the departure of Tim Jones from the University of Worcester.

Mick Donovan commented: “ We have been very fortunate to benefit from Tim’s leadership as an important member of the Board in recent years and wish him well in the future”. 

On the appointment of April White: ”April has been a positive influence in all aspects of the franchise in terms of working with coaches, players, sponsors and partners for so many years and we are thrilled to be able to confirm that she will now be our Managing Director”.

Tim Jones reflected: “I have really enjoyed my time as Chairman of the Wolves and have been particularly impressed by the dedication of the coaches, players and the loyal Wolves fans. I am sure that the club will continue to go from strength to strength”.

April White gave her thoughts on her appointment: “It is a real honour to be offered this role at such an exciting time for the club and I look forward to building and creating positive opportunities for our athletes, students, community, and fans. I’ve worked with Mick and the Worcester Wolves Board for many years, and I’m excited to support them and the whole Wolves family as we drive the club forward together.”

The Wolves are in action this Saturday with the men playing away against Bristol Hurricanes, whilst the women entertain Bromsgrove Bears at the University of Worcester Arena at 7.30 pm
