Amber, who is a Classification 4.5 athlete, joins the franchise from the Coventry Wheelchair Basketball Academy (CWBA), which she joined in 2019. Prior to her time with CWBA, Amber spent two years with the Essex Otters.
Since 2017, Amber has achieved a wide range of accolades including finishing first in Division One South, a runner up in National Division One Playoffs, second place in BWB Women’s League All-Stars Game and the U19’s Lord Taverner’s National Junior Champions with the Southwest Team.

On Signing for the Worcester Wolves, Amber said: “I’m really looking forward to the Women’s Premier League and representing Wolves. We’re a solid team and I can’t wait to get on court to see what we can conjure up.”
Worcester Wolves Managing Director, Mick Donovan is thrilled to welcome Amber to the franchise: “We have received some great scouting reports related to Amber and she clearly has proven success at all club levels. We really believe that she will bring a great deal to the Wolves and will be a key member of the team.”
The League will be the first of its kind for women’s wheelchair basketball in the world, and the very first professional para-sport league in the UK.
The University of Worcester will be one of four High-Performance Partnerships, which also include Cardiff Metropolitan University, Loughborough University and the University of East London, that will each be home to a women’s premier league team.
The club will be making further announcements over the coming weeks. Keep up to date with all things Worcester Wolves across social media channels and the website. For more information about the new Women’s Premier League, visit www.britishwheelchairbasketball.co.uk/womens-premier-league.
