Grace Brownell To Miss The Remainder Of The WNBL 1 Season.

Worcester Wolves can confirm that Grace Brownell will undergo surgery on her ACL and Meniscus injury that she sustained during our away game at Thames Valley Cavaliers on 13th February and as a result, will miss the remainder of the 2020-21 WNBL 1 campaign.

Grace has been an integral part of the Worcester Wolves Women’s team for four years now, although originally coming to Worcester as a wing player Grace made the transition to point guard last season where she thrived, leading our team to the Division 2 title last season and being instrumental in this year’s success shooting over 40% from behind the three-point line. This season Grace was selected by her teammates to be a captain and is a big part of our team both on and off the court and therefore, will remain with the team for the remainder of the season.

We would also like to thank DC Base Limited for their continued support of Grace and the Team.’

We wish Grace a speedy recovery.
