Worcester Wolves Announce Update To Player Jerseys.
At our game against Cheshire Phoenix this Friday (January 10th) the club will unveil its updated player shirts – proudly bearing the name of a charity close to the Club’s heart.
Each player’s shirt will now display the logo of charity Smile for Joel – a charity set up by the family of Joel Richards, a University of Worcester student who was murdered in the 2015 Tunisian terror attack.
The Club’s Managing Director, Mick Donovan, said: “Smile for Joel is a charity very close to the Wolves’ and the University’s hearts, and one which staff and students have raised thousands of pounds for. We thought this was a perfect way to show our on-going support for Susie and Owen and the incredible work they do.”
Susie Richards, Joel’s mother, will be present at Friday’s game to see the shirts unveiled.
