Worcester Wolves Injury Update

The Worcester Wolves team has been hit by a series of injuries over the holiday period.

Deshawn Freeman picked up a serious ankle sprain during the New Year’s game against London City Royals. He is now unavailable for a further 3 to 4 weeks.

Since then Filip Krämer has also broken his nose in an accident during a training session. The club are currently unsure what the implications of his injury are and how long it will be before he can return to the line-up.

Both injuries come as a huge blow for the Worcester Wolves as they travel to Leicester Riders tomorrow night.

January will now be a tough fixture month without both players as they face top of the league London Lions at home on 18thJanuary and travel to high flying Sheffield Sharks and London City Royals.

The club wishes both players a successful recovery; are actively looking for cover and hope to have further updates in the near future.
