After recently having his contract extended, Dean Wanliss has sadly been forced to resign from the Worcester Wolves due to a family matters.

On handing in his resignation Dean said “thank you for my short time here at the Worcester Wolves. It has been a great experience and the staff and fans have been welcoming from the beginning.”

Head coach Ty Shaw said, “We are very sad to see Dean have to leave, but understand the circumstances.  He is a great team guy, worked hard, and did a great job sharing his experience with our younger players.”

“We really enjoyed getting to work with him and wish him and his family nothing but the best going forward.”

As a response to Dean’s resignation, Coach Ty Shaw will immediately be seeking his replacement.

The Worcester Wolves will be looking for a win at home to Sheffield Sharks tomorrow for the “Freaky Friday special”. Tickets are available here.
