Glasgow Rock pre-match report
Last meeting
Unfortunately, Wolves have already lost the head to head going into this game. We first met at the University Arena where Glasgow got an 81-94 win. The second game was much closer, but Rocks still left the Wolves with what must have seemed an even longer journey home after an 82-77 defeat. However, Wolves still have it all to play for if they want to try and move up the table further in time for the playoffs.
Table position
After a win against Sheffield Sharks on Friday, Rocks have moved up to 3rd place whilst Wolves remain in 5th position.
One to Watch
Team GB captain Kieron Archara will be the one to watch in this game. The 6 ft 10” experienced forward is the league leader in blocks and currently averages 7.8 rebounds per game. He is definitely a strong defender that could cause an upset to the Worcester Wolves incredible offence of late.
Opinions
We got a couple of opinions on the game:
Trey Zeigler – “It’s a long trip. You have to be prepared and of course they won yesterday too so they are going to be ready to go.”
Paul James – “Glasgow are really tough on their own floor. we have to concentrate on what is sure to be a hard game this Sunday.”
