Leeds Force 17/03/2017 prematch report

Last meeting
Last Friday we managed a heavy 112-62 win at home. There were Successful performances across the board with Klassen, Walker, Setty, Huffor, Kennedy, Zeigler and Navajas hitting double points. Force are yet to record a victory against Worcester Wolves in the history of the BBL.

Table position
Leeds Force have fallen to 11th position whilst Wolves have climbed to 6th place. After a 50-point defeat against us, Leeds went on to beat Plymouth Raiders 99-69 at home on the Sunday so do not expect it to be as easy this time around!

Ones to watch
Leeds star man, power forward Jermaine Sanders should be back to fitness after hitting 18 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds in their win against Plymouth Raiders last week. Although the player that appears to be on fire lately is guard Jack Isenbarger.
Isenbarger has the highest 3-point field goal percentage and averages 16.2 points per game. The Wolves were able to restrict him to just 3 points last Friday, but he hit 34 points in the previous game against Lions and 17 points against Plymouth. Wolves will need to keep up the pressure on Isenbarger behind the 3-point line if we want to get the win and continue to progress up the table.

What the players think:
When asking Jermel Kennedy whether we can repeat the 50-point performance he said:
“I’m not sure about the 50, but I think that they will understand what they have coming to them when they get there now.”
Trevor Setty added:
“They need to find some more players to add to their team as they lost their star player, Sanders to injury. They’re a talented team and they beat London the week before, but we’re not London.”
