Wolves Looking to Revive Title Push
Worcester Wolves are looking for a win tonight against the Sheffield sharks that could revive their outside chances of winning the British Basketball League (BBL) title.
Wolves title bid has faltered of late and three defeats in their last five games have seen them drop to third in the table.
But with ten games remaining, six of which are at home, Wolves are still in the mix going into the final stretch, although they will be relying on the Newcastle Eagles losing four games before the end of the season.
Head coach, Paul James, is aware of the threat that the Sharks will pose, saying: “They’re a good team. They’re a solid team. They’ve been a little bit erratic in their performances this season but on their day they can beat anybody; they’re a threat”
Wolves still have two games against fellow title rivals the Leicester rivals and a home game against the Newcastle to play before the close of the season.
